Short and simple

Terrastate and Romaterra are a free hobby project by one person in the Netherlands. There is nothing to sell, so there is very little to say.

No account, no cookies, no ads

You do not sign up to play. This site sets no cookies, shows no ads and uses no tracking from Google, Facebook or similar companies.

Your game stays in your browser

Single-player runs entirely on your own device. Your saved game, save slots and settings are stored in your browser's own storage. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them, so use Settings, Back-up in the game to download a copy.

An anonymous visitor count

We use GoatCounter to count visits and a few moments in the game, such as "a season started" or "a season ended". It stores no cookies and no personal data, and it cannot tell who you are. It tells us how many people play, so we know what to improve.
